Hardware Installation & Assembly

Whether you're looking to repair, upgrade, rebuild, or assemble a brand new PC, we can install the hardware you need!

You're welcome to bring your own parts, but you'd be responsible for part compatibility and any future warranty returns (we will always offer guidance if needed).

Hardware Services

Let us know what you need and your device, and we can tell you what tier your hardware installation would be. Our installation and assembly fees bundle with the rest of the services we offer, so we can handle your hardware and software all at once.

Simple Parts
($45)

Some hardware is straight forward to install, like RAM in a desktop, or a graphics card without software setup.

This is the same as our "Front Desk" fee, and is our simplest level of paid hardware installation.

Advanced Part Installation
($189)

This tier is for when we know an installation is going to take a little longer, be more complicated, or more sensitive.

It includes things like laptop screens held together with adhesive, desktop power supplies, or drive installation with data transfer.

Home-Builder Support

Have a computer you built yourself that needs some TLC or diagnostics? We will be as involved in the repair process as you want us to be!

Our $60 diagnostic fee is perfect for those who can install their own hardware... if they knew exactly what hardware needed replaced!

Regular Part Installation
($99 - $149)

Most parts will fall into this category. Things like fans, hard drives without data transfer, coolers, graphics cards with fresh drivers, and some internal laptop components.

Comprehensive Installation
($249)

This fee is reserved for near tear-down level hardware installation, usually when replacing motherboards.

AIO vs Open-Loop
Liquid Cooling

We are well-versed installing and working around AIO close-loop liquid cooling systems.

If you have an open-loop custom liquid cooled setup, we can help point you in the direction of technicians who feel comfortable working with your hardware.

When we have more experience working with open-loop systems in our spare time, we will feel more confident trusting your high-end gaming hardware to our plumbing skills.

New PC Assembly
($249)

Have all the parts but need someone to put them together? We can assemble your computer from shipping boxes to a functional operating system!

  • Windows license sold separately.

  • Data transfer from previous computer included upon request.

  • Consultation on parts lists is included in assembly.

If you're just looking for advice on what to purchase, a quick chat is free! We recommend PCPartPicker.com to get started, but always check your motherboard's Memory QVL for white-listed DDR5 RAM models.

More advanced consultation on part compatibility, or creating a custom PC parts shopping list for you, is $45.

Want to learn? Ask about scheduling a Saturday for us to help you build it yourself! (Most assembly lessons take 6-8 hours.)

Liquid Metal

We're still practicing (on our personal computers) with safely removing and replacing liquid metal without jeopardizing nearby components.

For experienced technicians who can re-paste liquid metal or combo paste devices, we highly recommend N8's Tech Services here in CDA!
